New Valley in Bishopswood Brackla

A customer asked us to price to renew a leaking valley to her home in Bishopswood, Brackla, which we gladly did, after accepting our free quotation the fitting team arrived on site to carry out the works required, the customer was so delighted she asked us to renew the opposite valley at her home and also commented on how clean and polite the fitting team were, so much so, that she has told me that if she gets any problems with her main roof or flat roof over the garage she will contact us again and not her previous roofing company.

Congratulations to all the team, a job well done!

roof leak in Gelli

A new customer contacted us complaining about a roof leak.

He had 2 contractors out to repair the roof and both had failed!

CGF Roofing Contractors put their super cape on, stripped the front main roof, supplied and fitted new breathable felt, 2×1 tanalised roofing battens, and reused the existing tiles, on the ridge line we laminated a fibre glass strip along the ridge line onto the flat roof at the rear of the property, we then fitted a dry ridge system on top of this to seal the roof.

10 year guarantee issued and another happy customer for CGF Roofing

flat roof repair

a customer contacted us last night about a leak in the garage roof, it was found to be a piece of trim that was not covered with fibre glass.

The team left this morning and covered the trim with fibre glass and now the leak should stop, however it was noted that the bottom layer of felt which runs onto the garage roof is showing signs of rotting, customer was informed and happy we had carried out the repair.

Felt & Batten

A new client approached us with a problem, both gable ends of his bungalow were rotten and started to distort and twist, we priced for renewing these timbers, scaffolding was erected but upon starting this work it was noticed that the existing felt under the tiles was also rotten.

The customer asked us to quote for the extra works, which we did and was accepted.

The existing felt & battens on the bungalow were removed, new breathable felt and 2×1 tanalised roofing battens were supplied and installed and the existing roof tiles were relaid, new tanalised timber on the gables installed and new white pvcu fascia’s fitted on top of these timbers,  the job has been finished on time, on budget the site was cleaned and CGF has another happy customer from Penperlleni.

Refelted Roof

A customer contacted us about a leaking roof around the chimney stack area.

After an inspection from our surveying team it was found to be the existing felt (old Bitumen felt) had perished, cracked and had holes through in a wide variety of area’s, the only solution was to strip the entire roof and recover with new Breathable felt.

As the existing tiles were still in very good condition we offered the customer a choice to save money of re-using the existing tiles, so we did this.

existing tiles removed and stored, old felt and batten removed and removed from site, new breathable felt, 2×1 tanalised roofing battens installed, the existing roof tiles relaid and new ridges fitted.

Another happy customer From CGF Roofing Contractors.
