Weather

Well I would like to ask everyone to stop doing the rain dance now as our customers have been very patient with us so far but we want to start completing more work now.

So no more Dancing!

PLEASE!

roof repairs

A customer from Port Talbot contacted us through Neath & Port Talbot Care & Repair complaining about a leaking roof.

After a site survey it was reported to the customer that the tiles she had in place were laid incorrectly! they were not bonded and hence the water leak.

CGF Roofing sent a fitting team to the job, we stripped the complete roof to the main house and the rear annex complete, fitted a new breathable felt, 2×1 tanalised roofing battens and fitted the original tiles back on to the roof BONDED this time!

Another happy customer from CGF Roofing Contractors added to our ever growing list.

flat roof porthcawl

Yesterday we completed a fibre glass flat roof on a new customers garage roof in porthcawl, and just for good measure we re-painted the fibre glass porch roof on the front of the customers house so the house looks like new again.

Guarantee issued and another happy customer from CGF Roofing.

Flat roof

They have been added to our working schedule behind our already patient list of waiting customers.

Fibre glass flat roof

Today we have completed a repeat customers flat roof.

Emersons chemist in Kenfig Hill had two flat roofs installed by us last year and today they have just had the third roof completed, no need to worry now for at least 20 years!

Guarantee given.

Another happy repeat customer by CGF Roofing.

To all our customers

To all our customers,

I would like to thank you all for your patience through this trying time.

As you can appreciate the weather has caused us untold problems, we cannot start any roofs until the weather breaks, we are trying slowly to work through our working schedule, and as always all projects are booked in on a first come first booked basis, regardless of size or value, and please rest assure we are getting through the list and closer to you.

As we are a reputable company we will not open any roof space in wet conditions as this will cause problems later on down the road, for example, we open a roof in light rain, while we remove the existing roof covering it is still raining, we then refelt and batten, which then makes the roof water tight, we tile, clean up and everything looks lovely, a few week later you will start to notice discolouring in the ceiling, this has been caused by the rain soaking your attic space and working its way through to your ceiling.

This is why we will not start a roof in wet conditions.

Please rest assure we are doing all we can and once again we thank you for your patience and help through this difficult time.

We will contact each customer in advance to inform you when we will be arriving at your premises to start your works.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us here at the main office in Bridgend.

Many thanks,

Steve
